In 3 Steps to Lasting Change

How to tune your brain to set yourself up for success

If you often feel stressed, tired or even sad, depressed, overwhelmed, worried or anxious, you likely want to change. You may have tried, but lasting change is difficult. Otherwise we all would only have good habits, right?

So, yes, change can be hard.  But it can be done, if we do it the right way so our brain learns faster that this change feels good.

And If you want to change anything in your life, you need to start small and then add to it.

Here are my proven 3 steps to lasting change.

Step 1: Know What You Want...

First, you need to know what you want. Most of us focus on what they don’t want. Turn this around. What is it you really want? A better mood? Better Mental or Physical Health?  A better life? Feeling at peace? Feeling calmer? More happiness? Being fulfilled? Feeling safe? Better relationships? You decide.

Step 2: Create Tiny Habits...

Step 2 is to create a series of tiny habits towards your goal.

This can be as simple as starting each morning when your feet hit the floor by saying to yourself: “Today is going to be a great day”.

Of course, there is more. Below this article is a link to my free training where I explain how to use this approach to fast improve your brain and mood – and make it last.

Step 3: Celebrate!

And step 3 is to celebrate. ?

And yes, I mean to get up and dance, do your power move, say “Yes, I did it” to reward yourself.

Every tiny thing you accomplished needs to be followed by a celebration of this kind to tune your brain into wanting more of this habit that led to the good feeling of celebration and cementing it in your neural circuits.
