Fatigue: Why Am I So Tired?

tired.001

Pretty much everyone has experienced mild fatigue at some point in their life. After all, everyone has those tightly packed and high stressed days. However, if you are constantly asking yourself “why am I so tired?”; don’t blow it off.

Constant fatigue is pretty common, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t try to take care of it. There are many causes of fatigue, however there are a few more common causes. So how can you stop fatigue? Well, the good news is, it’s simpler than you might think to get your energy back. The main thing you have to do is figure out the root of the problem. So here are a few common causes of fatigue.

#1: Your Diet

You’ve probably heard it time and time again, but having a balanced diet is crucial when it comes to your health. Your diet can affect pretty much anything, including your energy levels. Many of us use caffeine or energy drinks when we are in need of a quick energy boost.

However, those habits can make your fatigue worse. After your blood sugar levels spike, they crash. In the dieta whole30 tudo que voce precisa saber sgmpybend this will make you even more tired, not less tired. In fact, most people feel less tired if they have a healthy and balanced diet. Obviously this isn’t a change that can happen over night. But you should consider making little changes everyday to your diet if you can. It will make a world of a difference!

And it’s not just that, if you are eating a mostly processed diet, and even if you try to eat healthy, you may be getting loads of toxins in your body without even knowing it.

If you want to know what you should eat – what’s acceptable (if you can’t find or can’t afford the best option) – and what better to avoid in my book: “Eating for Vibrant Health and Explosive Energy”

#2: Inflammation and Allergies

Chronic Inflammation, especially if it goes unnoticed (like often in the case of the insidious delayed-type food “allergies”, mostly called food sensitivities) or if you even have been diagnosed with an “autoimmune” condition…this can be a major cause of fatigue.

Even if you take allergy medications (or other medicines), the side effects can make you tired, too.

#3: Dehydration

Dehydration is a major cause of fatigue. So instead of that caffeine-filled, sugary drink, try a glass of water. Mild dehydration not only affects your mood, but it also makes you feel more tired. Most of us probably don’t drink nearly enough water, and that can cause a host of problems; including fatigue.

You should aim to drink at least 8 glasses of water a day. While that may sound like a lot at first, it’s really not. Just try switching out those caffeine-filled, sugary drinks for a glass of water.

#4: Stress

This is another major contributing factor to chronic fatigue. While stress is a normal part of life, too much stress can wreak havoc on your body. But how can you reduce or better deal with stress?

The first step in changing the way you deal with stress is to figure out your body’s stress signals — aside from feeling fatigued, you might be angry, have headaches, feel tense, or unable to focus. Once you recognize how stress effects you, you can learn how to better handle it. Here are some basic techniques to help you better deal with stress:

  • Short, regular periods of meditation
  • Talk with friends or family about your challenges
  • Regular breaks from work
  • Taking time for yourself

The Takeaway

In short, there are many causes of fatigue. In some cases, there are changes you can make in your daily life in order to reduce it. In many cases chronic fatigue is caused by things like dehydration, stress, lack of exercise, and an imbalanced diet.
